Shot by Islamic Republic agents during the Iranian national revolution. Security forces first shot him in the waist area and then in the forehead. Initially, Islamic Republic agents demanded 2 billion tomans for returning his body to the family, but after several days of delay and due to the family's financial inability to pay, the body was eventually handed over to them.
