Turkish individual from Malekan in East Azerbaijan province, fatally shot by Basij forces stationed at a checkpoint in Bonab. Forces opened fire on his vehicle under the pretext that he had failed to obey an order to stop. He was struck by multiple bullets and died at the scene. Basij forces fired directly at the vehicle's passenger compartment without following legal procedures governing the use of firearms and without issuing any warning shots beforehand.
