Shot by Islamic Republic security forces during protests in Fardis on January 8, 2026. War bullet hit his pelvis and leg area. After being taken to Sardar Soleimani Hospital, doctors had to cut the main artery of his leg to prevent bleeding due to lack of specialist physician. He was later transferred to Omid Hospital and then to Taleghani Hospital where his right leg was amputated above the thigh after 24 hours. A bullet that remained in his right pelvis for 36 hours was surgically removed. He suffered for 72 days in Taleghani Hospital before being discharged on March 19, 2026, against his wife's wishes at doctors' insistence. He died in his wife's arms just three hours after returning home. Father of two children.
