23-year-old biology student at Payame Noor University Mashhad, shot by government agents in the area of 7-Tir Square in Mashhad. Shot from behind while moving away from the scene. Bullet wounds observed in throat, shoulder and arm areas. Family was not allowed to bury him in Behesht Reza cemetery and had to use Behesht Javad instead. Burial ceremony was held under heavy security presence. There were attempts to present him as a Basij member which the family opposed.
