Arrested on January 8, 2026 by Islamic Republic plainclothes forces at Sabz intersection in Narmak, Tehran. His lifeless body was delivered to his family at Kahrizak morgue four days later on January 12, 2026. According to his friends, torture marks were observed on his body and he was killed as a result of severe torture in the Islamic Republic detention center.
