Kurdish prisoner accused of 'espionage' who has been sentenced to death for the third time by the Islamic Revolutionary Court after his sentence was overturned twice by the Supreme Court. The court issued the death sentence again on Tuesday (February 3, 2026) despite the Supreme Court judges previously finding in two different rulings that espionage for Israel was not proven and the execution was overturned for multiple reasons.
