Kurdish artist and cultural activist, former political prisoner, director of the Kurdistan Photographers House and founder of the Chaw Art House. IRGC Intelligence Organization forces ambushed his personal Samand sedan on the Marivan-Baneh road and opened fire, striking him with three bullets. State media and FARAJA falsely portrayed him and his family as armed members of a Kurdish political party (PJAK) involved in a clash, but Hengaw rejects this claim as a targeted attack. Buried under heavy security in Sanandaj.
