Incident Description
Elementary school principal and teacher from Azna county who was arrested on 12 Dey (January 2, 2026) after intervening to protect a student being beaten by special forces. He has severe disability in both legs and is under welfare organization coverage. He was beaten with batons by special forces, his car was damaged, then transferred to Azna Intelligence Office and later to Doroud prison without family notification. After nearly 40 days without access to lawyer, he was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and 2 years exile to Khoy county.
