Ali (Aryan) Fahim

Arrested on January 8 in the Nezamabad area of Tehran. Family has been under pressure since his arrest not to speak publicly about his situation. A court branch presided over by Judge Abolghasem Salavati issued a death sentence without the presence of his chosen lawyer. Details of the charges and the judicial process have not been officially released. His name appeared on Amnesty International's list of urgent concern warning about the risk of heavy sentences and executions against protest detainees.
